Logomania, Yet Again!
It has been a little while since I have discussed any designs I’ve been working on at Mozilla, so I thought I’d share some of the logos that I’ve created over the past little while. Both logos showcased here are designed purely in vector within Illustrator and take advantage of many new features found in Illustrator CS4. Enjoy!

The firebug logo is extremely cool. The drumbeat one, not so much. I thought it was a beer keg at first…

Uh, maybe it’s because I saw it first on planet under a picture of a huge bottle of beer, but when I saw it I thought “barrel of whisky”, not “drum”. It might just be me, though… =)

The drumbeat one reminded me of a Playmobil toy, tbh. In German, I’d say “Es fehlt ihm Wertigkeit.” Doesn’t seem to have a translation, it’s Marketing slang for something that’s perceived to be valuable.

Probably because you see more beer kegs than drums you right away thought the drum was a keg!

Love how the Firebug logo subtly reinforces the connection to Firefox. Also, the antennae placement (unintentionally?) makes him look happy.
