Looking great!
One thought would be to make the search buttons bar (at the bottom of the awesomebar) scrollable with a finger swipe.
I just counted and I've got 17 search plugins installed in Firefox and I don't consider myself a heavy search plugin user. If someone has 30 plugins or more, it's going to feel a pain to have to tap the scroll arrow a load of times in order to get to the end. Making it so you could swipe and they would scroll by could make navigation much quicker.

Judging from the screen capture, the red Delete icon looks too small and lost without its white border. Should it have a raised appearance as well, and/or maybe let it have a red border to help the icon to stand out? All other changes look like a step forward.

Very nice. Okay, one suggestion: fill out all of the shapes of the icons (especially options and bookmarks icon). (I don't think I'll be a Fennec user any time soon, so I'm not exactly part of the target group.)

Btb: I love the mix of Minion and Droid Sans around here.
