A work in progress…
I thought I’d share this lil guy to get some initial community feedback on him as I am currently illustrating him for a Mozilla Add-ons project.
He’s part fox, part machine, he’s… Mulder Fox? No, he’s just our ol’ friend Firefox with some handy attachments to help him sort through – and add to – the internet.

But anyway, I like it. Perhaps it could use a little more color variety than just brown, but it’s a great concept for Add-Ons.

At first sight, I like it, but I have second thoughts… It looks a bit too much like a monster, a bit Frankenstein, a bit geeky…
I find his too many gadgets makes him look clunky. (which is BTW one thing that some people don’t like about Firefox when is has too many add-ons). Also, this does not make me immediatly think about add-ons.
I really like it (how one cannot like a cartoon-like fox, seriously?), but I’m not sure the results of this work is 100% right.
Sorry for not being able to be more specific. I promise I would not complain if we decided to keep it like this !

Very nice work. Love it. As I really liked your work on Kit (Don’t Hurt the Web).
A couple of small suggestions – how about not having multiple “glass” items? Does he really need both glasses and a magnifying glass? Giving him an Indiana Jones or Lara Croft type of feel would be more “adventurous” rather than an Inspector Gadget.
Perhaps a backpack with items sticking out of it rather than a rocket? Smaller tail?

looks awesome, i think it would be cool if he was holding some kind of browser or box or globe in his hand with gadgets coming out of it… hence, Fox holding the web, customized by the user, displaying individuality / diversity and strength (power) of the browser!
