Mozilla Summit 2008: Conference Day 1 – Gran Paradiso!
Well here we are all tucked away up in Whistler B.C., settled into the Westin in what can only be described as an absolutely gorgeous location. I’m sitting on my apartment terrace looking at the mountains as I blog this. Gorgeous.
We all arrived yesterday and were given a warm reception last night out on the garden patio of the Westin. There were no sessions yesterday, just folk arriving from all over the world – Japan, Korea, China, Switzerland, London, Paris… I could go on.
We will start the sessions today with an introduction talk with Mitchell Baker, the Chair of the Mozilla Foundation, and John Lilly, CEO of Mozilla.
The first full session I will be going to this morning is “The History and Future of Web Browser UI” which is at 1PM. (4PM EST)
